Job Title: Events Manager & Social Media Manager
Location: East London (Dalston and Walthamstow)
Salary: Circa £35,000 + Bonus
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Events Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events across our three East London venues.
This is a new role so will require a candidate who is proactive, can work autonomously and is results orientated. The candidate will be organising events starting with three venues, each with its own opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have commitment to delivering exceptional experiences that reflect our brand’s ethos and know what events will be suitable for each venue.
Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Execution:
Develop and manage a diverse calendar of events, including live music, comedy nights, private functions, weddings and community events.
Communicate all events internally
Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, from initial concept to post-event analysis.
Ensure events align with 40FT Brewery’s brand and community values.

Venue Management:

Oversee the booking and scheduling of events across our three venues.

Liaise with internal teams to ensure venues are prepared and staffed appropriately for each event.

Maintain high standards of venue presentation and customer service.

Client & Community Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with clients, performers, vendors, and community groups.

Act as the primary point of contact for all event-related inquiries and bookings.

Foster community partnerships to promote inclusivity and local engagement.

Marketing & Promotion:

Collaborate with the management team to promote events through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and local advertising.

Develop promotional materials and campaigns to maximize event attendance and visibility.

Financial Management:

Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.

Monitor event-related expenditures and revenues, providing regular financial report to directors.
Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in event management, preferably within the hospitality or craft beer industry.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills

Proven proficiency in management of all social media platforms

Knowledge of licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and risk management.

Passion for craft beer and familiarity with the East London cultural scene is a plus.
