Sales Position: Account Manager

40ft is an independent brewery producing fresh, modern beer.

Born in a Dalston carpark in 2015 with just two 20ft shipping containers, we grew one shipping container at a time and are excited to have expanded last Summer to a new brewery and taproom on the Blackhorse Beer Mile.

THE ROLE

Account Manager – London

We’re looking for an Account Manager to grow and support our trade business in London. This role is field-based, focused on building strong relationships with our customers and helping get 40ft beers into the right taps.

You’ll be responsible for:

Growing the trade customer base across permanent and rotating taps
Maintaining and developing existing customer relationships
Spotting new business opportunities
Working to sales targets and supporting the Commercial Director’s strategy
Maximising time in trade and keeping accurate CRM records
Reporting to the Commercial Director with updates on performance and market insight
Attending events and functions outside of standard 9-5 hours when required

Achieve agreed sales targets and activity metrics, including call frequency and account growth

Work Location

London-focused field sales role, with offices in Walthamstow and Dalston.

Required

Sales experience preferred but not essential
Self-motivated with strong organisation skills
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable handling admin and reporting
Good IT skills
Interest in UK craft beer and knowledge of the London pub scene
