Salaries - We pay London Living Wage of £13.85 as a minimum. 

4 Day Week - In January 2023 we committed to putting our production team on a 4 day (32 hour) work week while keeping their wages the same as their previous 5 day, 40 hour contracts. This followed a 3 month trial at the end of 2022. Each of our three brewers receive a dedicated week day off each week, increased hourly rate of pay while keeping their previous salaries. Production increased by 20% in 2023.

Hackney Works - We work closely with Hackney Council to create roles for local residents with additional needs and long term unemployed. 

  

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT

Employing staff is a responsibility with a duty of care that extends beyond remuneration. 

Private Health Cover - Full Time employees receive Private Health Cover with Vitality who promote healthy living with education, incentives for healthy living and access to GPs online. This helps reduce our burden on the NHS.

Employee Assistance Programme - We offer a free confidential counselling and advice service for all staff for Stress, Anxiety, Emotional problems, Relationship difficulties, Bereavement, Family issues, Debt, Legal info. 

Wagestream - All staff have access to draw down their wages before payday as well as access to discounts through Wagestream's partners.

Personal Development - We encourage development and over the years have supported our brewers with the cost of their Institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD) exams. 

40ft Beer Allowance - We worked with our staff to create a policy in relation to access to alcohol. Although staff should be able to enjoy the product that they are integral in making, we have a duty of care to ensure that we are not enabling any bad relationships with it. Collectively, we agreed a framework by which we could each hold each other accountable.

SALES SUPPORT & LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Dalston, London

As we enter an exciting period of growth for the business, we’re looking for a Sales Support & Logistics Coordinator to help us scale and continue delivering high-quality beer to our customers.


About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team in a multifaceted role that blends sales admin, customer service, logistics management, and hands-on delivery driving. As a key member of our operations team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of our products to the on-trade sector. From processing orders and managing delivery schedules to personally delivering products, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our service running smoothly and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. An ideal opportunity for someone looking to transition into beer sales or take the next step into brewery operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing:

  • Use our order capture software, Breww, to process customer orders and create delivery notes for each drop, which will be electronically signed as part of the route.

  • Handle orders received via email or standing orders with specific instructions.

  • Work with Bar Analytics (BA) to gather insights on stock levels and quality from customers with BA installed. Create your own weekly plan to optimise this data.

Driving & Delivery:

  • Drive 3-4 days a week (with 2-3 hours per day for planning and preparation, mainly Tuesday-Friday). Use a 40ft delivery van or your own vehicle (under your insurance).

  • Plan efficient delivery routes across London, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while accommodating customer-specific instructions and delivery windows.

  • Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure the delivery van is roadworthy, clean, and properly serviced.

  • Work closely with Account Managers to monitor service quality and keep accurate delivery records.

  • Keep an eye on customer bar setups to spot opportunities and gather insights.

Warehouse Management:

  • Manually pick orders and manage empty keg returns.

  • Coordinate pallet orders and event logistics.

  • Work closely with the brewery to ensure stock needs are fulfilled.

  • Handle various formats, including kegs, cans, and bottles, with manual handling of 40kgs+ as needed.

 


 

About You:

  • Experienced Driver: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Comfortable navigating London’s roads.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in the UK.

  • Forklift Licence: Forklift counterbalance license (or willingness to learn – training provided).

  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Google Suite (desired), and Breww.

  • Draught System experience: Knowledge of troubleshooting pouring issues and cleaning lines. (Desired - training provided)

  • Strong Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a focus on quality service.

  • Excellent Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.

  • Team Player: Collaborative and ready to support colleagues while contributing to a positive working environment.
